Kitchen renovations in Perth

Bains Renovations renovates kitchens across the Perth metropolitan area, from a straight replacement of cabinetry and benchtops through to opening the room up and changing the layout. We handle the demolition, the trades, the cabinetry install, the splashback and the finish. The work suits homeowners updating a kitchen that no longer works for the way they cook and live.

How we plan it

Planned around how you actually use the room

Bench space where you prepare, the bin where you stand, the fridge door that has to clear the island. A kitchen that photographs well and works badly is easy to build, and you live with it every day.

That is the argument for having someone stand in the room before anything is ordered, rather than picking a layout off a plan.

Cost

What a kitchen renovation costs

Kitchens move a long way on cabinetry, benchtop material and how much of the layout changes, so a single number on a web page would be wrong for most people.

We are writing up what our own jobs have actually run to instead, and it will sit on the blog rather than here.

Questions

Kitchen renovation questions

Real questions we get asked. Answers come from Harry rather than being written for him.

Plan on two to three weeks for most kitchens, and longer if walls are coming out or the layout is changing. The stretch with no sink is shorter than that, and we will tell you when it falls so you can plan around it.
Nearly everyone does. Before demolition starts we will help you set up a temporary kitchen somewhere else in the house, and we keep the dust and the mess contained to the room we are working in.
Both, depending on the kitchen. If yours suits standard sizes we use pre-made cabinetry, which is quicker and cheaper. For a bespoke job, or a space that will not take a standard run, it is made to order.
Yes, as long as they are in good order and the new layout can take them. Get us the model numbers early so the cabinetry is built to the right dimensions, because that is the part that catches people out.
It depends on what we have on at the time and on how long your cabinetry and benchtops take to come in. We will give you a realistic start date with the quote rather than a date we cannot hold.
